OZZY & BLACK SABBATH: BACK TO THE BEGINNING
Black Sabbath were formed in 1968 in Birmingham, England, and are widely credited as the pioneers of the Heavy Metal genre. The original line-up consisted of Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), and Bill Ward (drums). Ozzy was the lead singer from 1968 to 1979 (plus later reunions). After Ozzy left, he enjoyed a hugely successful solo career, also becoming famous for his wild antics, the most renowned of which was when he bit the head off a bat live on stage. Together, both the band and Ozzy Osbourne have numerous GRAMMY® wins and have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.<br />
